"There have been so many high points in Mayall's career that it's all but redundant to claim another. But Three for the Road is special in its own right, giving listeners ample space to appreciate his skill as a keyboard player...This one's most definitely going to go down as one of the top live performance albums of the year."

https://virementcasino.com is where I often end up reading about how live music recordings get packaged and promoted, so the Blues Blast quote about Mayall's keyboard work caught my attention. Giving listeners room to actually hear the keys rather than burying them under the vocals seems like a small choice that makes a big difference on a live album.

https://auslandcasinos.net happened to be open from earlier when the line about giving listeners room to appreciate his keyboard work caught my attention, since I have always felt his organ playing gets overshadowed by his guitar and harmonica. That Blues Blast quote about it being one of the top live albums of the year seems bold but earned, especially for a live record that actually lets the band stretch out instead of just recreating studio versions. Curious how the trio format changes the older material compared to his fuller band tours.
It’s great to see “Three for the Road” highlighted as a project for fans to look forward to. The combination of John Mayall’s blues legacy with a more intimate recording format makes this release particularly interesting for listeners who appreciate the musicianship behind the songs. It’s always enjoyable to discover older releases and revisit the work of influential artists. For a quick break afterward, GTA Vice City in browser is another simple option to play online.
